“The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of art”.
Leonardo da Vinci

Our feet are a complex structure with 26 bones, 33 joints and over 100 muscles, ligaments and tendons. A quarter of our bones and muscles are below the ankles and while shoes and flat, level walking surfaces are marvelous inventions they can take their toll on the health of our feet. Pain in the feet can make walking and shoe wearing unbearable and imbalances can also contribute to knee, hip and pelvic floor dysfunction.

The great thing about feet is they are responsive to care and there are many things that can help alleviate conditions such as Morton’s neuromas, bunions, plantar fasciitis etc. Eleanor has created a treatment combining her skills and knowledge as an RMT and her history of helping people relieve pain and regain function as a Restorative Exercise Specialist.

Her treatments relieve painful symptoms, find the root cause and teach strategies for strengthening feet and regaining neural connection. This will not only keep you out of pain but will benefit your entire body.  It is always recommended that a doctor provide a specific diagnosis before treatment to rule out fracture and then together you can work on resolving symptoms. Eleanor uses a combination of RAPID NFR, myofascial release, massage therapy, and Restorative Exercise that is tailored to your specific complaint.
